Turok2 Framerate really low!

Hey, yo
When i try to play turok on my Notebook, it's unplayable. I get framerates of like 8 - 15 ... And everythings warping all over the place.
I got like 10 times more Power than turok needs, and it still sucks. I think Galahad has the same problem...
I join the server, and its fine and after a minute it all starts to go bad really fast.
I thought it might be a problem with DUal Core CPUs, but i think a lot of players use that.
Any1 knows how to fix this shit!?

nah sorry no idea Bas, but thx for giving to Ry and me a new excuse for losing, "my fps wa low" sounds pretty good

well in the corner it says ur ping is 1600... and that will usually cause ur frame rate to suck ass... but as for it being that low all the time.. i have no idea... i mean shit i think u could get better framerate then that.. with dos lol..

Nevermind.. i always got to turn on my old PC to play turok, so i can play it at least 
But it sucks a bit anyway..
I could play it here with Windows Vista, but there i couldn't open the console. Then i installed XP and it worked, then my PC was completely fucked up, and after reinstalling everything it doesn't work anymore

Damn, i have the same problem again.
2 days ago windows vista pissed me off and i installed windows 7 and i might have installed not all drivers / the wrong ones, i don't know...
Sjembek has the same problem...
So far i only can play 1 on 1 arena for 10 minutes and then it starts to get fucked up. In rok it fucks up after 1 minute already.
arrr this makes me angry, i can't get it.. why does this game not work??? Tried to run it in WinXP mode and all others and run with administrator rights, but it doesnt work.
i have no clue.

Maybe you should try download dual core optimiser drivers for your cpu procesor.

Actually it shouldn't matter what resolution or detail or whatever i use.. i have DualCore 1,8ghz 2gb Ram and Geforce with 256MB lol.
I installed different graphic drivers and AMD dualcore optimizers but it doesnt make any changes.
Ah looks like i can't play turok anymore until i fixed it.
Played 2 games today, one in arena, that was okay but after 20 minutes it started to fuck up, and in rok it started after about 5 minutes.
