Game freezing? Empty Game freezing?

Hi all, I just read all the help topics and didn't find what I was looking for, hence my post.  Has anyone experienced their game freezing for a couple of seconds and then back to normal? Not a major issue but during gameplay it can be a pain. Any help would be appreciated!

well not really here, not for many years at least...maybe it happens during some update on ur pc? or if it happens often, maybe ur pc is infected, it could also be connection like seb said.

happens all the time in other applications too? or only when you play turok?

If it happens in all applications virus may then be possible. Only Turok other problem Smile

It just started yesterday while playing. Could be virus but I have anti virus. I wish someone would create a computer that would fix itself! lol

Wow 1200 views?!? I hope this thread helps some guys out! Well unfortunately for me I think that my comp fell victim to a virus or something. Restore point would not work so I was forced to restart my system to factory settings. Might I add what a MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS THAT WAS! But I digress, all is finally well again in my world. I managed to save some files on DVD and put those back but all my favorites in IE weren't there. Oh well I guess what you cant restore from memory wasn't all that important anyway. I somehow managed to reload my game (along with Basber's modded version for AWR) and reset my keyboard and mouse back to where they needed to be. I just came back from a round of AWR over at Vis place and am glad to report that all is well. (Azza sends taunt 67), NO MORE FREEZES!


So for any player who happens to be experiencing the previous mentioned problems....I hope to God you don't have to do what I did and hopefully just a restore point reset will be all that you need.

The reason why it was freezed was probably because of the multi-core. AWR Turok.exe is already patched with that t2soecdm patch. This fixes that issue.
If issue remains try to run Turok2.exe in compatibility mode with older Windows version.

I'm running windows 7. But the problem occured in rok match as well as
AWR. Have played in both today with no reoccurances. Woo-hoo!
