if you want to get rid of that little error just download this file: http://surffi.net/~einari/BGE/glide3x.dll (Save)
& put it in your turok2 folder

WTF, I thought U were suppost to do delete glide3x.dll from your T2 folder to get rid of that error. That's what I always did, lol.

U got to put it in your turok folder. It should be in it, but i dont know why it isn''t anymore. I've never had that error in my early turok years, but i get it since some time now. I downloaded a glide3x.dll from google back then, and it worked, but if u play with that error, you'll feel no changes lol.

Hmm cool, I always wanted to talk about this topic...

What I've known about this glide3x.dll is that this is a file needed by a voodoo graphic card. these Voodoo cards aren't produced anymore: production ended somtimes 2000 - the company 3Dfx was bought by NVidia and the production of the Voodoo series was finished....
The difference between Ati and NVidia - and this 3Dfx cards is, the way how to manifest the graphic on the screens. Ati and Nvidia are using this direct X component but the Voodoo Cards use there 3Dfx technology....
There are some glidewrappers who can emulate these 3dfx effects but I wasn't able to get this glide wrapper working for T2....
I tried to download this glide3x.dll inserted it in the T2 folder, result: my game crashes
I've found such a glidewrapper who could emulate this 3Dfx graphic for another coooool game: Need For Speed 2 Special Edition - I love this racing game and with the 3Dfx effects it's even cooler Smile

somebody has experiences with these glide wrappers and couldplay T2 at 3Dfx mode?
