Music Files
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of a program where I can edit music files.... for example, if I had a song for like 10 minutes... and I just wanted one part of the song thats like 30 seconds... (5:00 - 5:30 of the song) and turn that into a wav or mp3. I'm not sure if I explained myself very well... hopefully I did, lol. Anyways, plz let me know if U can help me!! Thanks.

Re: Music Files
I have windows movie maker but I still don't see how U can edit songs with it... See, I wanna make a mp3 song to like almost like an ring tone in a way. I dont wanna copy the whole song... just a part of the song. I only want a part from the song and that part from the song I want in mp3 format also or wav. Do you understand what I'm trying to say now?? lol

Re: Music Files
Well the only way I ever cut a song to a specific part was in iTunes, where I just right click the song, then go to "options" tab and from there it would say start time and end time. Then I put that info.
In movie maker, I'd just click the time line icon from the bottom, and there on the right there's a little wmp screen and a "crop" button so when I'd get to a part I'd wanted, I'd click the crop, then drag the rest to 0:00 afterward wait till the part whee I want it to end. Also make sure you delete the parts of the song you don't want in the timeline. If ya want more info just PM me. I'll help ya out with movie maker.
