Master server not responding

I got this error message today. No servers listed using gamespy lite patch (given to me by Vis) which has worked great ever since gamespy shut down their server. Qtracker showed the usual servers though. Is there any update needed to use the regular gamespy search?

Well this is solution, if you not wish to wait 1 h during master server maintenance, which is normal cause. It is moded gspylite.exe and coresponding dll file which basber made for such scenario. It looks for servers on 2 places, so will find it anytime. Tnx, bas, again.

I make post on qtracker forum, addressing to ron. Hope we will have soon answer. To me, seems like something is blocked, so ron should fix it easy, I hope. Eny1 interesting to look my post and even, to add own, is welcome to do here:

Fixed? Fixed Hector, or the Master Server problem? Do I need a modified gamespy exe to find and join T2 servers? A while back I wanted to have a look at the game again, but kept getting that error, so I figured Gamespy had totally dropped support of T2.

For the last couple of days I've gotten the "Master server did not respond" message. I still use the Basber patch as well. Anyone else been getting this response?

Ye, here on forum is link 'CHECK T2 SERVERS' Use it to compare (refresh page multiple times if 0 servers). If there is no servers listed, indeed, plus your gamespy.exe showing same, then is problem on host/qtracker side, then you jsut need to wait. So you will know, in each moment where is problem. If is problem on your side it could be: qtracker doing maintenance (use blue gspylite.exe then), your net is behind nat (you changed net type/config, pc is in lan) or you using old gspylite.exe without qtracker ip added in hosts file... I, myself, using green exe, which you can find on basber's site. It working correct, for me.

Well I'm stumped. The game has worked fine all this year til this past week. I can see servers on forum link as well as qtracker but my game keeps saying Master Server did not respond. I haven't made any changes to file folder at all. Hope I can find an answer to this problem.

Ok, quick update. All is well again. In my desperation I remembered something a great and wise man told me once. Turn it off and then back on again. Not sure what sort of wizardry is afoot and at this point who knows lol.
