Game crash issues

I just recently found out about turok 2 online multi player, I was exceited to play it, upon downloading and setting up my info, I tried to play a game,
upon starting a match, the game closes completely, so I figured trying to join a server instead, after trying to join, it told me "File access denied."
Does any one know what I can do?

Make sure the files in the Turok2 folder are not READ ONLY, try to change that in the Folder / File Properties.
If it doesnt work and you have got the game installed in C:\Program Files\ Programs(x68)\ or something, try to reinstall to another folder, because there sometimes the files are automatically made read only and not changeable lol.

Got the same prob on my laptop, i will try with this

If the files are read only, the temporarely textures.dat file can't be created from the Rok Match Levels.lsm and Hires.agf for example, which means that the game can't run.
