Hello all here in the forum!!!

I started this thread because I think maybe somebody I played with wants to tell me his ideas, seeing me moving shoting and so on...
Maybe it helps me to become an even better player.
So go on, if you want to. I hope I can learn something by your answers to improve my gameplay even more!!!

well honestly now i don't think i can help you much lol

bout moves, when i first played you weeks ago, it seemed to me you were jumping a lot. I did the same at first, but i had to admit jumping, on flat areas i mean of course, isnt a good habit.

But i believe you moved differently recenttly, and way better as i told you in a previous post.
also i wonder if purr lin helps you lol, more fat so more easy to hit, you dont use shotgun much, not mentionning plin is totally unesthestic, unlike pinky adon, but hey thats just my view

hmm not really much indeed but it's ok :-D Yeah I changed my style a bit... first jumping than only walkig and now I try to jump croch and run more and more the confusing way :-D

and hey I use the shotgun at Rok matches...
And hey being the P-Lin and being a big fat target is good, so you have to move even better to not being hit...

I think the choice of P.lin isn't a good one, due to being a wide target but after seeing for myself that P.lin's the shortest character in the game, also adding the there's no other character the same height as P.lin, it might wreck your gameplay if you were to change character's. I was surprised that P.lin's shorter than Gant. When I see P.lin, he looks tall, but when I played as P.lin, he was so small. I have no idea how you can play with such a short character. His aim's so low to the ground. Lol.
I like your fighting style. I don't see anything wrong with it.
I used to do the whole jumping thing to at first, but it wasn't so bad. I was good at that, but it slowed me down. Now I find it easier to just move around and stick to the actual ground, if it's a flat surface. If it's a surface where there's little jumps, I might use them, such as those little hills in City 5, also known as the Graveyard level in Rok Match. Those little hills near the Plasma Rifle at the tree, on the other side of the Scorpion Launcher, if you know what I'm talking about. There's a +50 plasma ammo/firestorm ammo and if there's Health in the level, then there's two +10's. If you don't know what I mean, I can always take a picture later.
P.lin's a one of a kind character from what I've seen.
I don't know how to describe your fighting style to be honest. It's not something new and it's not something old. You're quick and you move around lots, but I havn't seen you do the crouching that much. I think mostly diagnol straft movements. I'm not sure though, for I've never payed attention to how people move, but I'm just trying to describe what it is that I see. Lol. I would add crouch if I had a roller mouse to change weapons. I'm happy without crouching. It does slow you down when you get back up again. If you crouch, then jump to the side, you'll see that it's slower than standing and jumping to the side. I'm used to crouchers, so I guess if the person you're up against isn't used to it, then you have an advantage.
I have my own move. It's a loop movement, then I fire. I call it the Loop Shot. I'll draw it up to show you what I mean. I've only started using it. Here's the picture. Check out my art skills.



I do a loop jump, fire inbetween the jump, land and move on. Sometimes I do the loop jump starting back one side and landing diagnol infront on the other side. The picture shows there's not much to shoot at, but when I do it, I have the whole person to aim at, from head to toe. I just couldn't be bothered trying to make the picture perfect. Lol.
I also have another one. It's nothing new though, but I give it a name. Lol. I just jump off whatever it is, aim down at the person, fire and if I hit them, I call it my Superman Smack Down. Lol. You got any names or such for your moves? Lol.

And yeah I know the place you've described at this graveyard level and see why you are jumping there

Jumping is cool for arena games... If you only have one enemy... I did it so often against Sanctanox :-D

And with his new mouse he's much better
So back to the Arena explanation: it's cool if you can calculate your enemy... if you know he can aim pretty good and always shot at the best moments, than you can go back 3/10 of a second before shot is reloaded, so he will aim at you down there and the last 1/10 of the time he an't shot you just have to jump away, so the shot hits for 90% the ground :-D ok it only works 3 or 5 times, but that is a good thing to distract your enemy :-D

hmm no, until now I didn't think of a name for my moves... maybe I'll do this later :-D
And yeah I know this jumping from above and ring your enemy down this way *gg*

I hate it when people ask me a question, then I stop to answer it, then they kill me. That's annoying. I'm booting them from my server when they do that next time. Lol.
I did the "Butch Frag" to somebody once. He was cheating, so I joined his team, then he would run thorugh the warp, move back, change teams, then I'd Frag him. ;] Lol. Harbour 1.
The Teleport stuff's the most annoying in my opinion. Just when they're teleport camping. Such in Harbour 1. ;[ I'm fine with weapon camping, but not teleport camping, because when I run through, I hit them, then they run through the warp without a scratch and that's the part which annoys me. ;[

I don't see how any of this would help Hexx though. Lol. Most are annoying. Lol.

I downloaded all five files, including the one with IceKilla verse Basber and I just watched you and I in City 5. I thought I'd respond after each one I've watched, because I might forget what it is I wanted to say about the video. Lol.
Great shot at first from you in City 5. I liked the music and I liked the ending music with the piano.
As for your fighting style, at the end, you took a couple of random shots. Lol. Also, you kept losing me through most of the game it looked like. I'd be in your screen one moment and then gone the next just as fast. I know I had you in my screen for most of the game.
I'm watching City 4 now.

As far as how you can improve. I don't know. You did great, even though you lost all the games. The only thing I noticed was as I typed above about City 5. How you kept losing me in view, but the rest of the games you had me in view.

Loool Ry I already told you that I record the game without music sound and add music during the cuttingprocess

Yeah sure thing... I set every brightness controller on max.... I don't get it, if the videos look brighter on your screen normally if you set all the graphic setting the brightest you can you should be able to play this game as bright as I do...
If only your monitor accuses your dark game, the video I've sent you would have to be dark too and so you wouldn't have realized it...

normally the first post is read and the others green, but if i open the last page and everything's red i have to open the previous page too and then everything is green no matter if I have read them or not.. I hate this

the problem I have.. it has to be a new button for every thread where are new posts, that directly leads you to the first post you missed, so I don't have to calculate on which page the posts are I haven't read and sooo on fuck that...
Maybe if I talk to chirac he can do something about it... Maybe... I hope so!!! saves me endless searching for the first post in every thread I missed...
normally the first post is read and the others green, but if i open the last page and everything's red i have to open the previous page too and then everything is green no matter if I have read them or not.. I hate this
Or if you are too long only at the page posts go green automatically.....

I've got a forum glitch, well, I don't know if it's a glitch, but when there's a new post, it's red, but just tonight and this's happened more than once, it was green, saying I read what it was, even though I didn't. :-S I see we both have this problem. !

Yeah, translator said "asch" isn't a word. Lol. I've seen German people type "Zou" for "You", so I thought it was his own way of saying "ass". Lol. He's probably just a kid anyways. ;P Funny when kids go beserk on an online game or any game for the matter. Lol.

that's not a creation of us Germans it's the keyboard layout
several keys are used in the english keyboard layout other than in the german layout....
every letter is the same except "z" and "y" they are changed...
Turok 2 no matter what version you are using it only has the english layout... so If we write on a german keyboard we have to press "z" for "y" and "y" for "z"
if I want to post this: ":-D" I have to press "ÖßD"
this is a bit annoying but you can learn this other keyboard layout after several trys without a problem...
