The first. How to edit the team names, like how you would for a dedicated server.
The second. How to edit the killstrings. For those who don't know what killstrings are, it's the message you see at the top of your screen when somebody dies.

Hmmm if it doesn't work, although you wrote it down in the integrated.cfg so I think there is no other way to get these things working...

Yeah, I was thinking about trying that. I wasn't sure if I should though. I'll try it out later and see what happens. I remember editing that file before, with the whole speed thing, from what Badass typed and it didn't work, so maybe changing the teams names might work in that file. I'll post back to see what happens when I try it. Maybe that's one of the good things about a dedicated server, being able to change the team names, but integrated servers run better for me than dedicated ones.

Lol.
I had other things to do first and I still have some more things to do before I test what it is, even though it wouldn't take long to test, but I'd rather do the other stuff first, which's more important.

Off topic.
My opinion of new textures is that it could play around with your head, with your gameplay, because you're used to a certain style of what you play with. When I play with gouraud mode, it's different for me and it's not the same. I like having the detail of what's there, so a different view of what it was did wreck my gameplay for a little at first, but I just had to get used to it.

Figured it out how to change the names of the teams for an integrated server. I'm not 100% done though. Just thought I'd give a quick update. I'll work on what it is later, along with seeing if I can edit killstrings for an integrated server.

I seem to be having a little trouble for some reason with the editing of the killstrings. They can be edited, but when I edited what it was my way for a suicide explosion, it keeps saying "you drowned". Lol. That wasn't what I put there, which's weird. Anyways, short detail of team names, copy and paste from dedicated server file into integrated one. That's what I'm trying with the killstrings, but yeah, having problems at the moment. Feel free to help me out anybody. ;]

Ok, funny stuff. In the dedicated server file, when you edit a killstring with the name of the weapon, it matches it 100%. When you edit say, the killstring for the Plasma Rifle, for an integrated server, it will work on the Scorpion Launcher, not the Plasma Rifle. Well, that's not what happens, but I'm giving you an example. In simple words, the killstrings for the weapons don't match what's there.
A killstring's the message you see when somebody dies, just for those who don't know.
This's dumb. Stupid people who made this game didn't even make it right. Lol. I hate it when people take shortcuts on video games.

You'll need somebody to test the killstrings with, because it's impossible to do it on your own, unless you have two PCs. I guess the only thing left about all of that would be whether the server crashes or not, if you've edited too much. I know my server crashed when I edited too much in the killstrings with my dedicated server, as did your's, Hexx, I think. Weird.

i think everything should work like in dedicated server.

BTW, i dont know if you know that, but it's possible to have more gm.cfg files, for example if you have different configs for Rok, or Arena or whatever and you want to load the config from "arena.cfg" file, you only got to run the gm_win32.exe with the command line - arena.cfg

gm_win32.exe -arena.cfg

i think that should work, then you dont have to edit always the gm.cfg... (but i think every1 knows that anyways)

I can't test them all. As I typed before, it's just me. I tested the suicided explosion and suicide in console. When I suicided with a nade, it said I drowned. The killstring didn't match what it was that I put it in. When I suicided in console, it gave me the killstring for a suicide explosion. Lol.

I have no idea how to do that in the picture. I don't even know what a *.bat file is. I'm sure I've seen it before though. Looks like too much effort for such a little thing anyways. Lol.
I tested LocalSuicideExplosion, SuicideExplosion and LocalSuicideConsole or SuicideConsole. All I did was, I took the default killstrings from the dedicated file, copied them, pasted them into the integrated.CFG where you add the SpeedMultiplier, deleted the ; for each killstring, because when I left all the ; in, the edited killstrings didn't work, then edited one and that's when the killstrings didn't match what it should be matching, but when I looked in the intergrated log file, it shows the edited killstrings 100% match what I edited. Lol. It's almost like a mix and match game to see what's for what. It'll be fun, but annoying. x]

Ok, then i don't know how it works either..

That picture is the Options of the Link...
I'm not sure how that stuff is called in english, but it's like if you got a programme on your desktop, it's usually a link to the C:\Program Files\Blabla\Bla.exe file... you right click on that link and there you click on something like Options or i don't know, and you should be able to edit this command line..

A Bat file is a text file where you can type things that should be started...
Like if you want to ping to different adresses to test ur connection or whatever you could write a text file like

ping 192.168.0.1
ping heise.de
ping 125.192.58.2

and save it as ping.bat and when you start that then, it just pings to all of these things in the cmd console..

(in this case i just ment to write like gm_win32.exe -config arena.cfg and save that to a bat file, and if u run that, it starts the gm_win32.exe with that arena.cfg)
I hope i didnt talk bs and that it really works, i didnt try it lol
